* Cygnus has a policy to endeavour to help protect the environment, both land and sea. We support Fair Trade and Surfers Against Sewage and where possible have a policy to recycle materials. We will therefore where possible re-use your packaging and despatch items in recycled packaging.
We have now moved to a new loft and shop,the loft is more able to cope with the amount of repairs we have. We continue to offer a fast and reliable sail,kite and windsurfing sail repair service. We keep in stock all the materials required to repair all the range of Laser,RS,49er,29er and Topper sails as well as a vast range windsurfing and kite repair materials. Cygnus have also invested in some of the latest sewing machines to improve quality and production.
Since moving to our new premises Cygnus has expanded into other areas of service.
Our school sails are now regarded as some of the most durable sails available to schools and are used both here and abroad.
We offer a complete rigging service, and have invested in Roller Swaging Machinery that will splice up to 8mm and we still offer Talurit Splicing and U S approved Nicro Swaging.
Our Rope Rigging section is also an area we have expanded,we are able to splice 3 Strand and Braided ropes as well as tapering Main Jib and Spinnacker sheets,We also do contract wire and rope rigging for Stairs, Decking and Balustrade areas and also for the Marine Trade and Sailing Schools, You will find our rigging prices very competitive.
With the ever increasing work load we have taken on the services of Beverly,her machining skills are superb,and is also a very skilled Upholsterer.Cygnus is now able to offer exterior quality Upholstery using only the best marine acrylic canvas.
For some time now we have been involved in the restaurant industry and in conjunction with J.P.R. Graphics have suplied a number high street restaurant chains with outdoor dinning and seating areas.This includes our own range or budget and high quality Cafe Banner Posts and Graphics made from Marine Grade materials, Sun Shades, Jumbo Umbrella Repairs,Supply and Instalation .John Rickard who handles all the outdoor business will be please to visit Restaurants, Cafes, Hotels,and Public Houses to survey the area and provide a quotation.
Due to the investment we have made in some of the best sewing machines available we can also offer specialist sewing services.as well as our sailmaking and upholstery we also sew and finnish Graphics for the exibition and desplay industry.
