Fitting.

Carefully undo app 6" of stitching in the middle of the batten pocket.

Cut the correct length of the batten.

We would advise you to tape the front end 6" (wrap the tape. PVC or similar over the end of the batten and up the batten app.6" both sides, so should the batten break again it is easy to remove)

Insert the front end (luff) through the undone area of the batten pocket.

Bend the batten and insert the back end (leach)

Line up the stitching holes and re-sew the batten pocket into place.
